22 Jan 2007 - Virtual Learning Environment to be used in South Africa
The Virtual Centre and the University of Durham Business School have won a contract in partnership Twente Business School, to develop enterprise and entrepreneurship capability in The Edu-Campus - a specialist institution in South Africa.
The contract will use the Virtual Learning Environment, developed by Limelight which offers full E-Learning capabilities for both Adult and Schools learning. The Environment offers a range of facilities including Library, Lesson Planner, Online Tests & Personal Scheduler and is now used by many LEA's and Schools around the country to provide Learning and Learning Support to their students.
The contract was awarded by the Dutch Department for International Development.
