01 Mar 2005 - Woodlands Schools Website & Extranet Launched
The Woodlands Schools group, which includes Great Warley and Hutton Manor Schools based in Brentwood, Essex are pleased to announce the launch of their new Websites and Staff Extranet designed by Limelight Software.
The Web Site is designed to not only reflect the corporate image of the schools but to also the friendly, supportive and vibrant natures of both schools in the group.
The websites are fully updateable to enable the Headmasters to keep the information each part of the school page upto date and relevant without having to come back to Limelight for content changes.
The Staff Extranet was initially designed to make the circulation of information from the central office to the schools quick and easy, particularly the regular amount of information received from the Department of Education.
The Extranet includes an area called the "Staff Room" where all members of staff can post notices, this has led to a greater communication and interoperability between schools, with staff socialising and arranging events.
The sites will continue to develope over the coming months, Virtual Tours of both schools are currently under development.
