
Limelight was founded in 1990 to produce software for the Sharp hand held organizers. We quickly established ourselves as the worlds
leading developer outside Japan.
We expanded our services in 1998 to utilise the knowledge we had gained in the immerging field of Internet development to offer
clients fully bespoke Internet Solutions.
2000 in partnership the University of Durham Business School we began the development of the virtual learning environment
www.virtual-centre.org for the British Government.
2002 we launched 4Pockets.com,
our trade name for the production and sale of Pocket PC and Smartphone games and software.
2004 in partnership the University of Durham Business School we launch our virtual teaching & learning environments (VTLE) for Primary,
Secondary & College education.
2007 Limelight Software Ltd became approved developers
for Nintendo DS.
